Nature Of Duties:
ENTITY: American Centrifuge Program DEPARTMENT: Technical Services LOCATION: Piketon, OH POSITION: Engineering Test Program Manager
Oversees the development and execution of engineering test plans to validate refurbishment and/or construction of plant systems. Interfaces with Construction, Operations, and Engineering personnel for the effective testing and checkout of refurbished or new plant infrastructure to assure the systems operate as designed prior to turnover to Operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and execution of system test plans from refurbishment/construction phase to the initial startup and operations phase
Responsible for the development and status reporting of engineering turnover and test schedule activities
Ensures the safe and efficient turnover, testing, and startup of centrifuge equipment and support systems in accordance with the Lead Cascade and the American Centrifuge Plant Licenses with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission
Responsible for daily oversight of the engineering activities related to system testing, startup, and turnover
Responsible for the demonstration of the proper operation of completed systems to ensure the systems meet intended design function
Ensures corrective action is taken on systems failure
Interface with Operations and EPC to develop turnover and testing boundaries and testing sequences
Develop Testing and Startup Engineering Program documents

Required Qualifications:
Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” level security clearance. Minimum Education • Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline or equivalent related experience. Minimum Experience • Ten (10) years’ experience in engineering or plant operations. Preferred Education and Experience: • Background in development/execution of start-up and equipment test plans
