Nature Of Duties:
Optometric Technician
Career Connections is looking for an optometric technician for one of their clients, a professional and successful, quality-oriented practice in Athens. This person will be assisting patients with pre-testing and the selection and purchase of optometric materials.
This position is permanent and scheduled for approximately 35 hours a week, which includes some Saturdays and early evenings. This employer provides a dynamic work environment with a great team of professionals, a competitive wage, and an excellent benefits package.
To qualify for this position, candidates must be detail-oriented, committed to excellence in patient care, self-motivated, and have good communication skills. Candidates must also be a team player and be professional and flexible. No experience is necessary, but experience in CMA, LPN, or a paramedical is preferred. Even experience within a medical office would be very helpful.
