Nature Of Duties:

Broad St. Columbus, OH 43223 Division: Administration/Inventory Management Services Pay Range: 26 Hours of work: 8:00 a.m - 4:45 p.m. Salary: $31,387.20 - $35,422.40 Annually $15.09 - $17.03 Hourly
Performs property and accountability functions for existing and newly acquired ODPS property, identifying assets, inventory verification of assets, entering inventory information into the AIMS (Asset and Inventory Management System); Inventory verification, processing and transport of items to DAS State Surplus for salvage of assets deemed no use, damaged, obsolete, or unserviceable by ODPS; Continual verification, clarification , and updating of various inventory sites (ODPS Administration, OSHP Posts and District Headquarters, BMV sites, ATPS sites, EMA sites, EMS sites, Columbus Shipley Building, Alum Creek Facility, etc. throughout the state of Ohio); Create and upkeep existing ODPS Asset Management files and records; Performs various inventory project assignments; Communicates via telephone, fax, email or regular mail to various entities in ODPS pertaining to inventory verification; Key entry of inventory information; Comparative analysis, review and correction of asset reports. Process various inventory management reports supporting various inventory management functions including the acquisition and maintaining of manufacturing materials, finished goods inventory, commercial carrier responsiveness and accuracy, and tracking the processing of purchasing asset items; Assists the Shipley Receiving Unit in the receipt and processing of equipment delivered directly to the Shipley Building. Perform other related duties as required such as transport items to and from the Alum Creek Facility as well as other sites as needed; Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles; answer telephones; Maintain Asset Management cage in Shipley building and Alum Creek Facility.
Required Qualifications:
9 mos. trg. or 9 mos. exp. in inventory control. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
