Nature Of Duties:

Salary: $32,489.60 - $38,188.80 Annually $15.62 - $18.36 Hourly Pay Range: 27 Hours of work: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Provides secretarial assistance for the Licensing & Commercial Standards {LCS} Unit Commander, Commercial Enforcement Coordinator {CEC} Sergeant, & Motor Carrier Enforcement Supervisor. Gathers, verifies, calculates, enters, & retrieves information. Maintains computerized reports (e.g., district fatality reports in order to recap & compare previous totals, monthly & yearly to date activity summaries & their comparisons to previous totals, quarterly recap of HP53 phone calls & responses for district). Enters statistical data in Law Enforcement Automated Data System {LEADS}, (e.g., case entry & management follow-up, NCIC entry, Evidence Room logs & Criminal Case Histories. Enters & verifies payroll totals for LCS Unit Commander, CEC Sergeant, Commercial Motor Vehicle Inspector Trooper, Load Limit Inspector Trooper & Motor Carrier Enforcement Inspector personnel. Performs other duties as assigned (e.g., answers phones, takes messages, & schedules appointments). In the absence of Executive Secretary, sends & prints daily report, handles other confidential matters as needed, processes invoices, & files incoming IOC’s & documents pertaining to equipment & invoices.
Required Qualifications:
1 yr. trg. or 1 yr. exp. in secretarial science including operation of typewriter or word processing equipment. For positions requiring manual dictation, applicants must also have 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in speedwriting or shorthand. For positions requiring technical terminology, applicants must also have 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in relevant technical terminology. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
