Nature Of Duties:
Put your experience to use with ElectroCraft, a global leader in motion engineered solutions. In this key management position, candidates will lead the Quality Engineering team to ensure the timely and cost effective completion of all assigned work and projects. This position will work closely with the Plant Manager and Lean manager to develop a strategy to establish, maintain and optimize an effective Lean/Quality management system. This candidate will oversee the design of inspection and testing equipment, quality assurance tests, statistical analysis to assess the cost of, and the determination of the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specification. This position will support first articles, new supplier qualifications, supplier quality metrics, supplier review meetings and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Technology. Equivalent experience will be considered. Strong background in the quality principles, ISO Lean are required. Must have a minimum of 8 years experience in a quality engineering role within a Lean production facility. Knowledge of International Standard ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems is required. Certification by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) is preferred.
