Coordinator of Student Support, Ohio University-Chillicothe. We seek candidates with a commitment in working effectively with students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities include initiation and supervision of student support activities directed toward retention of students, counseling, advising, implementation of retention plans and reports, career services, internships and placements and other student service activities. Responsible for placement and COMPASS tests as well as the campus testing services center. Provide support and counseling to special needs and probationary students. Must be able to priortize responsibilities to adhere to deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Must have personal and academic counseling, human relations and personal management skills. Organizaitonal, verbal, and written communciation skills as well as above average computer skills required.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree and PCC preferred. At least one year of experience in counseling, student activities, human relations, public speaking, or general higher education advising preferred.
