Call Elizabeth Camponeschi at 702.2722 with any questions!

FAQ: What kind of information should I include in my job posting to make it the most effective?
Include the responsibilities that the position will have, the shift and hours that will be offered and the requirements that are set forth for the successful candidate. Be straight forward with requirements to avoid any confusion or feelings that information was with-held during the application process. First impressions are just as important for the employer as the applicant. Be sure to list any information that is legally required by your company to publish with any outside posting. Be sure to double check your policy and procedures manuals for any compliance regulations just to be on the safe side.

FAQ: Should I list what the pay scale will be?
This is an option that you have, it is definately not required but if the information is offered, then it might be a good idea to include it. This can be a good indication to applicants that there will be no surprises with the application process and if there is a set rate that will be offered, there is no harm in listing it. If your company would like to list 'based on experience' in the compensation area be prepared for negotiation from your candidates. This is another area you want to be honest with the information that is provided to keep things open throughout the hiring process.

FAQ: Should I list benefits?
Absolutely! This is a great selling point for any job, and benefits are not simply health insurance and a bonus structure. Benefits can be a flexible schedule, home on the weekends, no weekend hours, free meals during shifts, paying mileage, continued training opportunities, employee discounts, etc. Be creative and realize that just because there are not monetary bonuses and health insurance offered does not mean there are no 'fringe benefits' available with the position!
